(Undated) -- Wind-whipped snow is cutting visibility on many western Minnesota roads. Gusts up to 50 miles per hour have reduced visibility to one-half mile or less in some places. Forecaster Matt Friedlein [[ freed-line ]] says the affected area is a big one. It runs from the Red River Valley down to the Minnesota River Valley into west-central Minnesota over to Alexandria and parts of I-94, down towards Redwood Falls and Mankato and even the Interstate 90 corridor. Friedlein says the blustery conditions and reduced visibility will last into the evening hours.
