Expect continued negotiations this week as Republicans and Democrats at the Minnesota Legislature try to work out alternative teacher-licensing legislation that Governor Dayton will sign.  The goal is to encourage more private-sector professionals to go into public school teaching.  Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius has suggested additional requirements beyond those in the House and Senate bills.  Senate leaders indicate they hope to put a bill on Dayton's desk this week.
