Minnesota polar explorer Lonnie Dupre is back home after cutting short his solo attempt to climb Alaska's Mount McKinley. Mother Nature had different plans for Dupre - extreme cold and hundred-mile-an-hour winds for days on end. Dupre, who lives in Grand Marais, says he's extremely tired and lost 15 pounds during his trek -- and now plans to do some vacationing and relax. As for another attempt to climb North America's highest mountain, Dupre says "yes" and plans to launch another solo effort next January. Dupre says he will begin training for his next climb four or five months prior to the expedition.
