(Undated)  --  We still have three months to go but Minnesota is on track to finish below last year's record-low highway death total.  The state recorded 421 road fatalities in 2009, the lowest since 1944.  So far this year, 301 deaths have been reported, compared to 313 at this same time last year.  State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske (ROSS'-kee) credits stepped-up enforcement of speeding and D-W-I laws.  He says police are also raising their visibility which tends to cause drivers to slow down and pay more attention.
