(Undated) -- Some of the floodwaters are receding in southern Minnesota and it's time to add up the damages. State Emergency Management Director Kris Eide (EYE'-dee) says FEMA assessors will begin assessing damage to homes this afternoon, then tomorrow public infrastructure damage will be calculated. Once the assessment is complete, Governor Pawlenty will seek a federal disaster declaration.
