(Undated) -- A US census Bureau report shows in 2009 household incomes went down while poverty rose across Minnesota. The statewide poverty rate hit ten-point-five-percent -- up from eight-point-seven-percent a year earlier -- but still well below the national poverty rate. Meanwhile, the state's median income dropped from a household average of around 60-thousand dollars to just under 55-thousand-500-dollars a year. Another stat from the Census Bureau report: eight-point-seven-percent of the state's population didn't have health insurance in 2009, but that's actually one of the healthiest rates in the country.
