(St. Paul, MN)  --  For a third time, the Minnesota Supreme Court has rejected a request for a new trial by a man convicted in the shooting death of St. Paul Police Sergeant Gerald Vick in 2005.  Thirty-seven-year-old Harry Evans is serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole.  The killing happened outside an East Side bar in the city while Vick was working undercover.  Evans has been acting as his own lawyer, arguing he wanted new evidence presented in the case.
