(St. Paul, MN) -- A St. Paul man faces felony charges for allegedly aiding another man who was an accomplice in the murder of Maplewood Police Sergeant Joe Bergeron on May 1st. Prosecutors say 22-year-old James Lentz originally told police he did not know Joshua Martin but later admitted he'd taken Martin to his apartment to hide after Martin said he was involved in the murder of a police officer. Lentz has a court appearance October 19th. Martin pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree murder and was sentenced to nearly 36 years in prison.
