TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has canceled the planned release of a detained American woman because the legal process is not completed, Tehran prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi was quoted as saying on Friday.
"Because the legal procedure on her case is not finished, her release is canceled," he was quoted as saying by the ILNA news agency.
Iran had said it would release Sarah Shourd, one of three Americans detained near Iran's border with Iraq in July 2009, on Saturday.
