(Grand Rapids, MN) -- The Blandin Foundation's 2010 Rural Pulse survey shows a sharp jump in the number of Greater Minnesota residents who feel their communities are struggling. Foundation President Jim Hoolihan says 37-percent of those surveyed said quality of life in their community has declined. Hoolihan says the top three concerns in rural Minnesota are jobs, livable wages and education. The complete survey can be found on the Blandin Foundation's website.
