Minneapolis, Mn (WSAU) Former Packer defensive end Mike Montgomery has reportedly signed with the Minnesota Vikings. The Star-Tribune says it's a one year deal just above the veteran's minimum of $630,000. The 26 year old Montgomery says the he was not a good fit in the Packers new 3-4 defensive scheme. The Packers released him earlier this month. He was drafted in the sixth round in 2005. he had eight career starts and five sacks
