(St. Paul, MN)  --  Minnesotans are buying up foreclosed homes at a brisk rate, although slightly below the national average.  During the first three months of the year, 17-percent of all residential home sales in Minnesota were properties that were either in or all the way through the foreclosure process.  Experts say it amounts to a huge increase.  Daren Blomquist [[ bloom-quist ]] is with RealtyTrac which monitors home foreclosures nationwide.  He says foreclosed properties in Minnesota sold for about 21-percent less than homes in the regular market during January, February and March of this year.
