(Irvine, CA) -- The Twin Cities metro area saw a whopping 58-percent increase in foreclosure filings last year over the year before. That's twice the national rate. Daren Bloomquist of the foreclosure tracking firm RealtyTrac says the 2009 numbers in Duluth are not as drastic coming in at about point-five percent. Blomquist says unemployment is driving foreclosures here and elsewhere -- and he expects no let-up in foreclosure filings this year.
