(St. Paul, MN)  --  The Minnesota Health Department is out with a report showing a major drop in what it calls "adverse events" throughout the state's hospitals and surgical centers.  Last year four people died in such cases -- compared to 18 the year before.  Adverse events are mistakes by doctors.  Health officials also report no patient deaths due to falls.  However the report shows an increase in a troubling scenario: There were 44 cases where hospitals performed the wrong surgery, or operated on the wrong body part.
