Michigan got a much needed win last night with the Wolverines beating the Gophers at Minnesota 71-to-63. DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris combined for 47 points, which really pleased Michigan Coach John Beilein.

Sims had 27 points, including 21 in the second half while Harris Finished with 20 points and 7 assists. The victory leaves the Wolverines with a 12-and-12 record, including 5-and-7 in the Big Ten. Michigan returns to action next Tuesday at Iowa.

Michigan State star guard Kalin Lucas, who came off the bench to play 29 minutes on his sprained ankle in the Spartan’s loss Tuesday to Purdue, is expected to start tomorrow when M-S-U plays at Penn State.
