Minnesota has a shot at the national record for the most tornadoes in 2010. Preliminary numbers showed Minnesota leading with 145 and Texas in second place with 105 twisters. But Todd Krause (KRAU'-zee) at the National Weather Service says corrected numbers show 104 confirmed tornadoes in Minnesota this year. He says if nothing else, Minnesota is near the top in tornado numbers -- which Krause says is "pretty unusual" for the state. Some southern states haven't weighed in yet with their late-fall tornado figures. Minnesota's numbers are inflated by the 48 tornadoes on June 17th, the most in one day in state history
