(Deerborn, MI)  --  Governor Pawlenty, Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and state Economic Development Commissioner Dan McElroy (MACK-el-roy) are in Dearborn, Michigan this morning, making another pitch to Ford Motor Company to keep its Saint Paul plant open.  Pawlenty proposes Ford re-tool the facility for new-generation vehicles.  Spokesman Bruce Gordon says they'll discuss the "CAR-Z" incentive package that the governor proposed and the legislature passed.  He says this program could provide significant financial benefits for the reinvestment and re-tooling of the Saint Paul assembly plant.  The governor requested the meeting in June.  The Saint Paul plant, which has already received several reprieves, is now slated to close in 2011.
