(Various) -- In Minnesota's U-S House races, Shelly Madore won Tuesday's D-F-L primary in the 2nd Congressional District against Dan Powers. Madore will be up against incumbent Republican John Kline in the November election. In the 4th district, Republican Teresa Collett defeated Jack Shepard and will challenge incumbent Democrat Betty McCollum in the general election. Fifth district Congressman Keith Ellison bested two Democratic opponents in the primary. He'll be up against Republican Joel Demos and Independence candidate Tom Schrunk in November. In the 7th district, Republican Lee Byberg defeated Alan Roebke (REB'-key) in the primary and will face off against Democratic Congressman Collin Peterson. In the 8th Congressional District, incumbent Democrat James Oberstar handily held off a challenge from Bill Hamm. Oberstar is up against Independence candidate Timothy Olson and Republican Chip Cravaack in the November election.
