Storms whipped across Minnesota Sunday from top to bottom. The National Weather Service says a funnel cloud touched down in Wright County while hail, heavy rain and thunderstorms plowed across the Twin Cities area. Near the Canadian border, large hail was the problem, with one observer in Koochiching County reporting a piece the size of a baseball.
