(Undated)  --  Following a deadly weekend on Minnesota highways, the State Patrol reminds drivers and parents that laws aren't always followed.  Aside from drinking and driving, prom season can offer more potential for adults to give alcohol to minors.  Adult providers face criminal charges if the underage drinker is killed or injured or harms others.  Some communities have so-called "social host" laws that apply even to underage providers.  State public safety official Gordy Pehrson (PEER'-son) says any host found guilty can face jail and fines up to one-thousand dollars.
