(Hastings, MN)  --  An eighth-grade Hastings student is behind bars for allegedly taking a loaded gun to school and pointing it at several classmates.  Police responded to the incident at Hastings Middle School shortly after 10:30 a.m.  When officers apprehended the eighth grader, he tried to flee, but was eventually arrested.  The school was put on lockdown for several hours.  The suspect was treated for minor injuries after witnesses say he caused some damage to school property.
