(St. Paul, MN) -- Since last fall, nearly one in three Minnesotans received the H1N1 flu vaccination. Kris Ehresmann (AIRZ'-man) with the Minnesota Department of Health says Minnesota ranked eighth overall in the nation. Minnesota ranked first in vaccinations for people from 25 to 64 who had chronic medical conditions. The state also fared well in vaccinating children six-months to 17-years of age. Ehresmann says 44-percent were vaccinated, compared to 37-percent nationwide.
