GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - The U.S. Census has started the hiring process for 7,700 part-time jobs in northeast Wisconsin. With the layoffs recent at some area businesses, it could become a perfect match to help gather information for the 2010 Census. U.S. Census spokesperson Muriel Jackson says given the current state of the economy, she's expect a big turnout for applications. It starts with a 30 minute basic skills test, then a valid driver's license, use of a vehicle and ability to go door to door. Jackson indicates the sooner interested parties come to the test, the better the chances in being recruited. For more information log onto http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/
