A night at the museum sounds like good family fun!

by Jessie Hawkins

Imagine the fun!  Spend the night at the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm on February 28th!  I can totally see my 7 year old loving this!  Family Nite at the Museum is a unique opportunity for children ages 6-12 to spend the night at Minnesota Discovery Center.

Spend your evening enjoying workshop activities like:

  • Building telescopes
  • Minerals and Rocks Tour of Geology Hall
  • Cuyler Adams performance
  • Flash Light tour and More!

Family Nite at the Museum overnights are for children ages 6 to 12 and their chaperones. Individual families and groups can register for this event. Scouts, schools, churches, community groups and others are welcome at the overnight. Groups can range in size, but must always maintain a minimum 1:3 ratio of chaperones to children. Minimum group size is 15 (5 chaperones and 10 children); maximum group size is 150 (50 chaperones and 100 children). Chaperones must be at least 21 years old.  Programming runs until 11:30pm with a bedtime at Midnight.  Cost includes snacks, activities, and t-shirt.

This sounds like a fun, new experience for families!  Here's a link for more info http://www.mndiscoverycenter.com/
