BONO’S DAUGHTER TO STAR IN SCRIPT VIDEO

 

The Script tapped some rock-royalty to star in their latest music video. According to British paper the Daily Record, Bono’s daughter Eve will be the lead in the clip for their song “For The First Time,” the first single off of their forthcoming album, Science & Faith. Lead singer Danny O’Donoghue joked that they decided to go with Eve after “Brad and Angelina said no.”

 

A BON JOVI RESIDENCY IN VEGAS?

 

Could Bon Jovi be the next major artist to take up residency in Las Vegas? According to British paper The Mirror, after a successful residency at London’s O2 Arena earlier this summer, the New Jersey rockers have received a multimillion-dollar offer to set up shop permanently in Sin City. Exact details are scarce, but the paper does say that the band is “excited” by the offer.

 

AFTER WEDDING, NO MORE KATY/RUSSELL TALK

 

Stories about Katy Perry’s relationship with Russell Brand have been getting almost as much attention as her music, but it may be time for that to come to an end. The lady with the number-one album in the country told the Associated Press that after the pair tie the knot, they’re not going speak publicly about their relationship anymore. Perry says that it’s because once they’re married, there will be nothing more to say about the subject.

 

COLBIE DANCES WITH SHERYL CROW

 

Colbie Caillat has been out on tour this summer with Sheryl Crow, and it seems that she’s been having a blast. The singer-songwriter posted a picture of Crow performing from backstage on her Twitter account, and also wrote that she went on stage to dance to Sheryl’s hit song “All I Wanna Do.” Read more at www.Twitter.com/ColbieCaillat.

 

TAYLOR SWIFT’S LATEST GREETING CARDS ARRIVE AT TARGET

 

The latest series of greeting cards written and inspired by Taylor Swift are available exclusively at Target Stores now through early November. Her cards for American Greetings Corporation are sequenced with a butterfly icon on the back. There are 18 new cards celebrating birthdays and friendship. Previous cards in the series have been sold at retail stores in the U-S, Canada, Mexico and the U-K.

 

COLDPLAY MAN PLAYS NEW SONG

 

Coldplay are said to be working on a new album right now and Chris Martin might have unveiled some of its contents this week. On Wednesday, the Coldplay frontman performed at Apple’s press conference to announce Ping and iPod updates. Martin performed a melancholy track called “Wedding Bells,” saying it was a new track that “may never come out.” Fans of Coldplay should check out the performance on YouTube now.

 

GAGA ANNOUNCES 2011 MONSTER BALL OPENER

 

According to Ticketmaster, Lady Gaga has picked an opener for her 2011 Monster Ball tour. Starting in February in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Scissor Sisters will be getting audiences ready before Gaga hits the stage. Learn more at www.GagaNews.com.

 

ANOTHER GAGA COMIC BOOK

 

The first comic book based on Lady Gaga was such a huge success, so it’s no surprise that another one has been green-lit. According to MTV, Bluewater comics will be putting out a 32-page sequel to Fame: Lady Gaga sometime in November.

 

MADONNA AND LOURDES HANG OUT ON SET

 

Madonna is hard at work filming her new movie, W.E., but she still managed to take some time to be a nurturing mother. Perez Hilton has gotten their hands on some pics of Madge and daughter Lourdes hanging out on set.

TAIO CRUZ TALKS ILLEGAL DOWNLOADING

 

British crooner Taio Cruz is urging fans not to download music illegally from the Internet. The singer told English newspaper The Daily Star that he understands why a kid wouldn’t get why it’s important to not illegally download, but he goes on to say that file-sharing has already harmed his career. Cruz said that he had to create his Rockstarr brand, including a fragrance and sunglasses, to bridge the gap and he plans to add a whole range of products to the line. Cruz has scored two hits with “Break Your Heart” and his latest single, “Dynamite,” is on top of the U-K singles chart and is at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

 

JESSE McCARTNEY PREPS NEW SINGLE!

 

Jesse McCartney will release his new single, “Shake,” on Tuesday, September 21st. The song will be will be available exclusively as a free download through popular music app Tap Tap Revenge for the first two days of release. “Shake” is the first single from McCartney’s yet-to-be-titled upcoming album, which he’s currently recording in Los Angeles with producers Sean Garrett, Kevin Rudolf and more.
