JAMES CAMERON'S OSCAR PREDICTION! Avatar director James Cameron hopes his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow wins the Oscar for Best Director for her critically acclaimed film, The Hurt Locker. According to www.AccessHollywood.com, Cameron feels it would be his “fantasy outcome, absolutely” for her to win rather then himself. In addition, the filmmaker said he’d be content with winning Best Picture instead. The Oscar’s air Sunday, March 7th at 7 PM on ABC.
FOX WON’T RETURN CHRIS GOLIGHTLY’S CALLS! Last week we reported that American Idol hopeful, Chris Golightly was kicked out of the competition. www.PerezHilton.com is reporting that Idol producers received an email shortly after it was announced that Chris made the Top 24 from Golightly’s manager, saying that he was under contract with another studio. The producers immediately kicked him off the show, even though the manager called back the same day to explain that Chris was, in fact, not under a contract. It was too late, as Tim Urban had already been chosen to take Golightly’s place. Chris reportedly tried to reach out to Idol producers to no avail. He said, “I've left them voicemails, but they've screened my calls. They don't even answer me. Nobody."
KRISTEN STEWART DOESN’T WANT TWILIGHT 3-D! According to www.PerezHilton.com, Kristen Stewart may have a problem with the fourth installment of the Twilight franchise being in 3-D. In the flick, Stewart’s character “gives birth to a half-human, half-vampire baby” named “Renesmee.” She says of the scene: “No, I don't think that should be [in 3-D]. Also, you don't want ‘Renesmee’ to be scary. You don't want her to fly into your face. I think Breaking Dawn should just be a normal movie. But who knows?” Fans can expect Breaking Dawn to begin shooting this spring.
FLAVOR OF LOVE STAR ARRESTED! Reality TV star Nicole “Hotlanta” Essigmann from the hit VH1 show Flava of Love, was reportedly arrested on two counts of cruelty to children charges. TMZ reports the TV personality was later released on 25-hundred dollars bail after spending one day in police custody. Further details of the incident are still unknown.
