Too Late?

by David Kuharski

In a quest to answer one of the questions my kids asked me Saturday morning after they got their faces painted, this will be my target for next year.  (So it is written, SO IT SHALL BE DONE!) Ordinarily I sit on the sidelines at the not-so-big holidays, though Julie would probably say I'm a curmudgeon at Thanksgiving & Christmas.  But I want to be more proactive!  Dress up with the kids!  Why not?  It's probably too late this year... the costume I want is too expensive.  But--mark this down, in 1 year's time... (Doing my best Mr. Burns) ... I want to have my son Caleb dress up as Emperor Palpatine--Keith will dress up as Darth Vader--my younger boys Adam and Joe will dress up as Storm Troopers and I will dress up as a member of the Imperial Guard... Oh yes.... Oh yes, it will be very nice!  Because we're all Star Wars geeks we can all play our roles to a 'T'.  Heck I might be able to get Julie to go as Princess Leia!  (you know, after thinking about it-- Joe should go as Chewbacca) Don't know who the Imperial Guard are... check out the pic below and this link for more info...
