SNOOKI DOES COMMUNITY SERVICE! Jersey Shore cast member Snooki has already finished one day of her community service sentence at a zoo in New Jersey. TMZ reports that Snooki was at Popcorn Park Zoo and spent her time there cleaning animal pens and scooping up poop. She’ll reportedly spend her second and final community service day with the New Jersey animal control department. Besides her community service, Snooki was ordered to pay a 533 dollar fine after pleading guilty to disturbing the peace following her July 30th arrest.

KAT VON D NOT PREGNANT! There were rumors circulating this week that Kat Von D was pregnant with her new beau, Jesse James’ baby. Well, it turns out those reports are absolutely false! People reports that the L-A Ink star and Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband are not about to be new parents!

SPENCER APOLOGIZES TO HEIDI! Spencer Pratt has released a statement to the press apologizing to his soon to be ex-wife, Heidi Montag, for his behavior during their divorce. Last month, Pratt threatened to release a sex tape starring Montag, himself and another woman after Heidi filed divorce papers.

According to the Associated Press, Britney Spears denied a bodyguard's accusations that she sexually harassed him and abused her children. Spears released a statement on her website that explains authorities looked into the bodyguard’s claims but found no reason to act. The statement said the singer and her attorney expect Fernando Flores' sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress lawsuit to be dismissed.

P!NK NOMINATED FOR TWO VMAS

P!nk is up for two MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. Her video for “Funhouse” is nominated for Best Direction and Best Editing. SNOOKI GETS COMMUNITY SERVICE! Snooki was in court yesterday after her July 30th drunk and disorderly arrest in Jersey. The Jersey Shore cast member pled guilty to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to two days of community service. She also has to pay 533 dollars. Lady Gaga doesn’t just perform onstage – she breaks up fights from there too. According to www.ContactMusic.com, at her show Tuesday night in Washington, D-C, a fight broke out while she was performing her tune “Just Dance.” Gaga halted the music and said, “Stop fighting. Do not fight at this show.” This got cheers from the audience and apparently stopped the tussle. Gaga has a few days off before doing a pair of shows in Philadelphia on Tuesday and Wednesday.

SARA BAREILLES WORKS WITH PHARRELL – SORT OF

On her new record Kaleidoscope Heart, Sara Bareilles tried working with a couple of different people, including super-producer Pharrell – but apparently, it didn’t work out quite as well as she had hoped. Bluewater don’t seem to be too worried, because they insist that they are “100-percent” within their First Amendment rights to publish the book even without permission from Gaga. The dressing room was decorated with balloons and banners and a lot of champagne had been put on too." MIKE POSNER DIDN’T WANT COLLABORATIONS

Mike Posner doesn’t have any collaborations on his album 31 Minutes to Takeoff, but it’s not because he didn’t have the opportunity. According to ContactMusic, the “Cooler Than Me” singer felt that it was “important” for this first record to be only him because he didn’t want to “trick” people into liking his music. The pop star did say that there are “a million” people that he’d enjoy working with in the future.

RIHANNA UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE

The wait is over! Rihanna just premiered a new single called “Only Girl (In The World)” from her upcoming fifth studio album. The project has been titled Loud, and she promised on www.RihannaDaily.com that the effort will include material that’s "sassy, fun, flirty, energetic." She added, “I didn't want to go backward and remake [the 2008 album] Good Girl Gone Bad. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna." MARK DAVID CHAPMAN DENIED PAROLE

Mark David Chapman, the man convicted of killing John Lennon, has been denied parole. According to CNN, Chapman was interviewed by a three-member parole board panel who agreed he should stay in prison, marking the sixth time they’ve come to that conclusion. The board did not cite its reasons for denying parole. Mark will next be eligible for parole in 2012. Chapman is serving a 20 years to life sentence for Lennon’s 1980 murder.

KAT VON D IN LOVE WITH JESSE JAMES! Kat Von D is professing her love for her new beau, Jesse James. The L-A Ink reality star told People magazine that Jesse is only her ninth boyfriend (whatever that means) and that she is in love with him. Earlier this year, Jesse James was married to Sandra Bullock; the pair is now divorced after Bullock found out James cheated on her. Maybe Kat will be luckier when it comes to James’ fidelity.

British crooner Taio Cruz is urging fans not to download music illegally from the Internet. The singer told English newspaper The Daily Star that he understands why a kid wouldn’t get why it’s important to not illegally download, but he goes on to say that file-sharing has already harmed his career. Cruz said that he had to create his Rockstarr brand, including a fragrance and sunglasses, to bridge the gap and he plans to add a whole range of products to the line. Cruz has scored two hits with “Break Your Heart” and his latest single, “Dynamite,” is on top of the U-K singles chart and is at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

JESSE McCARTNEY PREPS NEW SINGLE!

Jesse McCartney will release his new single, “Shake,” on Tuesday, September 21st. The song will be will be available exclusively as a free download through popular music app Tap Tap Revenge for the first two days of release. “Shake” is the first single from McCartney’s yet-to-be-titled upcoming album, which he’s currently recording in Los Angeles with producers Sean Garrett, Kevin Rudolf and more.

DOUGLAS TALKS RADIATION. Michael Douglas is speaking more about his cancer treatment, saying the radiation and chemotherapy is tiring him out. He told People magazine that it’s a fight, but one that he plans on winning. The 65-year-old actor is being treated for a tumor at the base of his tongue.

NO MORE HEIDI-SPENCER SEX TAPE! We can’t tell whether this is good or bad news, but TMZ is reporting there won’t be a Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt sex tape released anytime soon. In a letter Pratt wrote to Vivid Entertainment, he says Heidi has no interest in releasing the tapes and Spencer doesn’t want to further destroy his relationship with her.

PARIS HILTON BANNED FROM VEGAS HOTELS! Paris Hilton has been banned from the Wynn and Encore resorts in Las Vegas. The ban comes after she was arrested Friday and charged with possession of cocaine. During her arrest, Hilton was taken inside the Wynn casino to go to the bathroom and that’s when the drugs were found in her purse.

PALIN AND JEWEL’S SKIT! Jewel has released another video on FunnyOrDie. It’s titled “Betwixt The Music” and in it, the singer tells the story behind a band she formed with Sarah Palin. Jewel insists before she made it big time, Sarah was part of her duo and played the flute. LAW & ORDER: L-A UPDATE! Law & Order: SVU hottie Mariska Hargitay will make a guest appearance on the new Law & Order: Los Angeles show. According to E! ACTOR’S STABBING TRIAL! The 40-Year-Old Virgin actor Shelley Malil, who plays an electronics clerk in the flick, is on trial for attempted murder. More details have come to light about Malil’s alleged actions and according to People magazine, the actor walked up to his ex-girlfriend two years ago in her backyard and started stabbing her repeatedly. Shelley’ girlfriend was stabbed more than 20 times, but survived, The 45-year-old actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges but if he’s convicted, he could face up to 21-years in prison.

KATY PERRY TO JUDGE AMERICAN X-FACTOR?

Could Katy Perry be a judge on the American version of Simon Cowell’s The X-Factor? According to British paper the Daily Mail, Simon is ready to offer Perry a spot on his panel after he was impressed with how she did during her guest stint on the U-K version of the show. A source said that Cowell wants to get all the judges signed on and announced within the next six weeks, and that he’s ready to offer Perry a salary of 340-thousand dollars per show.

Before a recent show in Edmonton, Canada, Lady Gaga posted a picture on her Twitter page from inside Rexell Place arena, where the Edmonton Oilers play. In the photo, the singer blanked out a letter in a banner that says “This is Oil Country” to make “country” have a bad word in it. Gaga may have found it funny, but apparently city officials in Edmonton did not. According to www.Edmonton.ctv.ca, local TV stations are refusing to show the picture, and Mayor Stephen Mandel said, “Some things are disgusting and you shouldn't have to say they're disgusting.
